Lake Argyle

From Jabiru in the Northern Territory we headed west over the border. Along the way the magnificent Kimberleys started to form and we saw our first boab trees along the way.

After a good nights sleep at the Victoria River Roadhouse, we crossed the border in the morning and made our way to lake Argyle.

We stayed for the next two nights at the Lake Argyle Caravan Park which was great. The infinity edge pool overlooks the lake and the Kimberleys, and was very welcome in the 35degree heat.

In the evening we explored the area and watched the sun set over the lake, with witch a few cold drinks.
