The Bee’s Knees Reel Spooler is a unique and portable design and has a carbontex drag system for the best possible result when spooling reels from 130lb overhead game reels to spin reels for mega Gt’s or light gear.
The large carbontex drag washer produces in excess of 15kg of drag, which is more than enough for packing line tight onto any reel. Two ball bearings provide smooth operation and the solid aluminium and stainless steel construction makes this spooler a pleasure to use for many years, even for commercial and charter operations.

Description
The Bee’s Knees Reel Spooler Anodized Black is the same as the standard version, however all aluminium parts are marine anodized in black, making this spooler great looking and more resistant to the elements. It was made to also match the Line Winder BF-216 and BF-215 and the logo is laser engraved instead of the sticker.

Worth the wait from Australia I had two Shimano Stella SWs an 18000 and a 10000 still carrying braid from around 2013. Fixing that meant finding a spooler that could handle big spinning reels under real tension, and most US options either won't take a reel that size or are built for conventional reels and merely tolerate spinning gear. The Bee's Knees is purpose-built. Machining is clean, and the tension adjustment is the whole point real, measurable, repeatable pressure instead of guessing with a rag and a wet thumb. On a bridge tarpon setup running 80lb braid with the drag set heavy enough to turn a fish off a piling, loosely packed line isn't an inconvenience, it's a lost fish. Worked very well. I had to adjust the tension a couple of times when spooling 600m of pe2 onto my saltiga 15. Didn’t need anybody’s help. Smooth drag. Superb engineering. Richy NZ.
