These slides are made in South Africa, the home of slide baiting.
Our personal favourite slides, Kingfisher are top quality and tested over many years by top slide baiters, with some impressive catches behind them.
Slide fishing is where a grip sinker is first cast out and secured tightly to the bottom and then the bait and leader is attached to the mainline and slides down to the depths below (like a flying fox).
Sliding is very versatile and can be used to put any bait, dead or alive, big or small, where you want it.
Sinker weight of these slides are 1/2oz and 3/4oz. The colour of the bead may vary.
