$20 to $140 off Avet reels

6/24/2017

There is no reason to import Avet reels anymore

This month we received some fantastic news, Busted Fishing is now the Australian distributor for Avet reels. This means cheaper prices and better service for Australian customers.
The retail price has already been reduced from $20.- for the small SX to a massive $140.- for the EXW 80 3 speed reels.
It also means 12 months warranty, service, plus spare parts are available.
There are well over 1000 different reel variations and although we are committed to have the most popular models in stock, it will take some time to have them all. If we don't have it, we can always get it in for you and delivery takes about 2 weeks.
Plus Busted Fishing offers a 7 day return policy, so you can shop with confidence.

Customers are often overwhelmed with the Avet range so we broke it down for you at a glance

Reel Sizes: Avet reels come in the following sizes: SX with a 60mm frame, MX with a 70mm frame, LX and JX with a 76mm frame, HX with a 86mm frame and the game reels come in a size 30, 50, 80 and the T-RX has a 130 as well

Spool options: You can choose between spool width and the SX, MX and LX series come in narrow spools or wide spools.
In the HX series there are 3 spool widths to choose from. J denotes the narrow spools (jigging). In the larger EX series there is narrow and wide and the narrow are also topless frames. Also the EXW is a topless frame although it's a wide spool

Mag Cast Control: This is a great option for casting. The magnetic cast control is adjustable with a dial, depending on conditions such as a head wind etc. and these reels are some of the finest casting lever drag reels available, making birds nests a thing of the past. Mag cast is available from SX through to HX models (except HXW).

Gearing: Avet reels have fantastic gearing options and whilst the single speed come with a medium or high speed option, there is also a 2 speed model available. Some HX and EX models also have a 3 speed gear box for clearing lines quickly for applications such as fishing under a kite. The anti reverse is a bullet proof anti reverse dog system.

Drag: Together with the bullet proof design, the drag is what Avet reels are famous for. They are either large single drag discs or in the Raptor series they have twin drags. The EX game reels also have twin drags. The T-RX series has quad drag and is the most powerful reel on the planet. This makes it possible to fish smaller reels with braid backing for bigger fish.

Left Hand Reels: Every reel in the range is available in a true left hand version. This is not a conversion but a true left hand build. Colours however are limited to silver at no extra cost and selected colours at a surcharge. The right hand also has the option of camo blue, camo and the stunning hand painted dorado colour at a surcharge.

Colours: The colour range of Avet is awesome, please check out this clip for options: CLICK HERE

Hi Evan
Thanks for your reply. First of all i would determine what pound line you want to fish and how big the fish are you are most likely to encounter. That will determine the size of the reel. If they are smaller fish then i would be looking at a new G2 series reel like a MXJ or a JX, depending on how much line you think you will need. Just make sure it's a "J" reel as they are the narrow spool models. For larger fish you can have a look at the HXJ reels.
Feel free to send me an email as well or call me on 0438219249 to have a chat.
Cheers, Frank
